The Lux Family package is great for all your needs for a family session.
It provides plenty of time to get a variety of moments and memories for you! This is also great to give kids a chance to warm up and be comfortable with me. This package includes travel and the location can be anywhere in the Orleans and Ottawa area (I can provide you with my fave locations!) or we can set up in my cozy studio. You can pick this package for family or cake smash sessions.
Studio mini
20 min family session includes:
- all fully edited, digital high
resolution images (approx. 20).
- in studio only, with neutral set up/light props.
- online gallery.
*Upgrade this package to an
outdoor session (choice of 2 parks in Orleans) for $50.

Since these sessions are 20 minutes - they are quick, easy and fun at a discounted price! You can pick this package for family, maternity or any milestone sessions! This package is for in-studio only unless you upgrade to location (can choose between 2 Orleans parks).

What to wear?
Doing a photoshoot is special, so do it up! (not dressy but have fun with it!) I always tell my clients to wear something that would ideally match their home decor so that when you print and display your images it all ties in. Adding in accessories like bowties, hats, bows, pretty painted nails and jewelry is always a nice touch.
When should I book a session?
Anytime! Although it is best to book in advance to be sure you get a date in my calendar as I do only book so many sessions a month. For Fall to Christmas it is especially a busy time so booking in advance is suggested.
Will a deposit be needed to secure a date?
Yes, A deposit on all sessions booked to ensure you have a spot in Melissa's calendar.
What is a family marathon session?
Family marathon sessions are "mini" sessions but not a whole less then a regular session! I hold these marathon dates 3-4 times a year at each session (Spring, Summer, Fall and Christmas). These are discounted sessions with a structured approach and a shorter time slot allowing me to book families back to back.
How do I book a Family marathon session?
These sessions are only posted on my Facebook business page. A few months before, an event will be created as a "save the date" to ensure it's fair for all to be ready for the booking date. Most times, these sessions sell out in a few hours so joining the event will help you know when to be ready to snag your spot!
